HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I love Halloween!  It is one of my favorite holidays!  I can't wait until next year when Ben and Penny have more of an idea about what's going on.  We did do somethings to make our day special.  First I volunteered for a little Halloween party with the kids, it was super fun!

Some fun Halloween crafts

For snack they tried the yummy Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins I made yesterday.

They were a hit!

We didn't get in out costumes today, we did that one Sunday for the Carnival.  We had a little dragon and a unicorn if you wanna see pictures.

Next year we will do the trick or treating and all the spooky stuff.  They just don't quite get it all yet, but at least we had fun today!

I hope you all have a safe and happy Halloween!

Yummy Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins

If you have notice I love easy recipes.  From my Personal Apple Pies to my Black Forest Cupcakes, I love short simple recipes!  I don't always have time to make recipes that require lots of steps and lots of ingredients.

These Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins are no different.

There are only 3 ingredients!  It doesn't get any easier than that!  Yellow Cake Mix, 1 can of Pumpkin and 1 cup chocolate chips.

Simply mix the cake mix and the pumpkin until blended.  I used a mixer.  Then add the chocolate chips follow baking instructions on the box.

Let them cool and enjoy!

I love a simple recipe!  Next time I might try it with a box of spice cake mix.  I think it would add just a bit more flavor.

I hope you enjoy them as much as my family did!

Personal Apple Pies

Tonight we made easy peasy personal apple pies.  They were so simple and so yummy!

Basically I just wrapped up apple pie filling in a cresent roll.  Sprinkle them with cinnamon sugar and baked them.

That's it!  I told you easy peasy!

They were super yum, especially with a little vanilla ice cream.

The possibilities are endless.  You can fill these things with just about anything and make a little pocket and they are delicious!
What else do you think we could fill them with?
